Israeli Chamber Project in Concert

About This Show

Israeli Chamber Project (ICP) members share a passion for music-making and deep connection with the musical culture of Israel. Acclaimed for performances around the world, they devise programs combining beloved masterworks with lesser-known gems and music by Israeli composers.

In this concert, violist Paul Neubauer of Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center is ICP’s guest in a program framed by two energetic piano quartets written a century apart. The first is Mozart’s lyrical Piano Quartet in E-flat Major; the second is Richard Strauss’ impassioned and rarely played Piano Quartet in C Minor, written when he was just 19 years old.
