In This House

Melting Pot Theatre Company presents In This House, a new musical, as part of its PRELUDES: New Musicals in Concert series. The work features music by Mike Reid, lyrics by Sarah Schlesinger, and a book by Sarah Schlesinger,Mike Reid, and Jonathan Bernstein. Jonathan Bernstein directs, featuring musical direction by Andrew Wilder. The cast includes George Lee Andrews, Stephanie J. Block, Mary Beth Peil, and Charlie Pollock.

A young couple takes an unexpected journey when their car crashes into an old wall surrounding a deserted house on New Year’s Eve. Through its powerful, melodic score, In This House communicates the challenges and joys of waking up and moving on, stone by stone.
