Thirteen albums in and with a White Stripes duet under her belt, Holly Golightly is a legit songstress with a unique sound forged somewhere between rhythm and blues, rockabilly, and folk rock. While her sound has remained remarkably consistent throughout her fairly extensive recording career, each of her records has its own unique quality that sets it apart from the other releases. While she’s remained under the radar for some time, she’s described as the most interesting and diverse artist to come out of the Billy Childish school, certainly one of the better singer/songwriters of the post-grunge era.
