Haunted Heart

Karen Akers, one of the most successful international cabaret singers, will headline an exclusive three week engagement in the Oak Room at The Algonquin Hotel. She was inspired to put together this collection of songs after she heard Jo Stafford’s recording of “Haunted Heart”. With a collection of wonderful songs, Akers continues her love affair with France. The French composers Jaques Brel and Charles Trenet are represented as are the American songwriters Harold Arlen, Yip Harburg and Stephen Schwartz.
There is a $15 food/drink minimum for all performances.
