About the Show
Red Door Productions and Step Forward Entertainment present Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Alan Ball’s sharp, funny, and deeply human play set during a Tennessee wedding. Hiding from the reception downstairs, five bridesmaids take refuge in an upstairs bedroom, where polite small talk quickly unravels into confessions, clashes and unexpected connection.
Isabella Candillier is Frances, the sweet, rule-following bridesmaid; Carolina Buhck is Meredith, the rebellious younger sister; Kiana Shahosseini is Trisha, the glamorous girl with a soft side; Ana Radice-Morras is Georgeanne, the big-hearted, chaotic bridesmaid; Violet Levinson is Mindy, the dry, no-nonsense sister of the groom. Aidan Poltun appears as Tripp, a grounded counterpoint to the whirlwind.
Directed by Roxane Pes in her Off-Broadway debut, this intimate staging leans into the humour and vulnerabilities that surface when five women find refuge from the party, only to stumble into the truth.
