After over ten years performing in indie folk duo the Weepies, Deb Talan is stepping into her own spotlight. Following a separation from her former husband and bandmate, Talan is fortifying her past solo work, rearranging classic Weepies songs for a solo artist, and releasing new material. Through marriage and motherhood, survival and solidarity, Deb Talan’s music uses her lived experiences to bring activism and art to the stage.
