Dana Fuchs fronts her own tight, deeply soulful band with a raw intensity that shines through in her huge, passionate vocals, her starkly honest lyrics and her fiercely commanding and unapologetic stage presence. Her reputation in town led the producers of the off-Broadway smash hit, “Love, Janis” to seek her out for the lead singing role as Janis Joplin where she made even more fans. Dana continues to pack/sell out every venue she plays in NYC. Her uniquely rich gritty voice has also branded the famous MTV 10-Spot after producers heard Dana bantering with her audience at one of her shows.
