About This Show

This season, Monday night is Broadway’s Day Off at Symphony Space. Stars of the Broadway stage migrate uptown to showcase their own work, and generally do what we all do on our day off: their own thing! The series includes The Thalia Follies: A Political Cabaret, six evenings of political and satirical skewerings (where no one is spared!); New Voices, three evenings of original art songs; Alternative Torch, three evenings of just what it sounds like; and three evenings of Rush Hour Chamber music by the best of Broadway’s pit musicians. Featured artists include Rebecca Luker and the Bentano String Quartet, among others.
