Bright Lights, Big City

Works and Process at the Guggenheim presents a concert performance of Paul Scott Goodman’s Bright Lights, Big City, based on the celebrated novel of Jay McInerney. The cast includes Gavin Creel (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Maya Days (Aida, Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar), Norm Lewis (Amour, The Who’s Tommy, Side Show), Jimmy Ludwig, Liz Larsen (Hairspray), Annmarie Milazzo (Original cast Bright Lights, Big City), Sara Litzsinger (Amour, Beauty and the Beast), and Jayne Paterson (Jane Eyre, Les Miserable). McInerney and Goodman takes part in a discussion moderated by Jim Nicola of the New York Theatre Workshop as part of the event. The curator for this event is Howard Stokar.
