With a deep soulful voice somewhere between Annie Lennox and PJ Harvey and an ace band that includes Brian Jackson on keyboards, Rufus Cappadocia on cello, Joe Magistro on drums and Winston Roye on bass, it doesn’t look or sound like her father’s (who happens to be Peter of Peter, Paul and Mary) kind of folk.
