Best of the Best Dance Competition

Best of the Best (BOB) is the premier South Asian national dance championship in North America. BOB was founded in New York City in 2005 and was the first large-scale 501(c)3 non-profit competition to crown one winner among the top dance teams in Bhangra, Raas-Garba and Bollywood/Fusion. The organization is committed to promoting South Asian arts through dance and unifying the South Asian community through the arts.

The Best Will Compete… A showcase of winners from the top Indian dance competitions around the nation. An opportunity to square off against each other to determine who is truly the “Best of the Best! (B.O.B.)”

The Best Will Shine… The Grand-Prize winner at B.O.B. will be the group that transcends the boundaries of their particular style and performs at a distincly elevated and univerisally appreciated level. The prize will go to the team that takes their particular style to a level of creativity and enthusiasm unmatched by any other team in the country.

The Best Will Be Remembered… “Best of the Best” will not only assemble teams from all over the country, but will also bring together people from different backgrounds to appreciate the unique talents of others. By uniting the audiences of competitions everywhere, together we will determine who really is the BEST OF THE BEST!
