BabySteps is a collection of three funny and heartbreaking monologues, written by Kareem M. Lucas, in which we follow three different family members, across time and space, dropping into pivotal moments in their lives. A Father celebrating the birth of his child, a Daughter making history in her industry, and a Mother launching a brave new endeavor. Come join us as their individual experiences paint the story of this 21st century Black family. Every journey begins with a step. Some of those steps are big, and some of those steps are BabySteps.

Covid-19 Safety Protocol: Patrons must be masked at all times while in the theater. Performers will be maskless. Proof of vaccination not required.

Accessibility: Please note that entrance to the theater requires a 17-step walkup, with additional steps inside the theater leading to the seating area and bathroom. Accessible seating available upon request. Please email boxoffice@rattlestick.org at least 24 hours before your arrival to the theater.
