On the afternoon of the first debate between the Presidential candidates in
Coral Gables, Florida on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30TH, a preamble to that
eagerly-anticipated match-up between John Kerry and George W. Bush will take place when Avenue Q, the 2004 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, presents Avenue Q & A, a heart-“felt” debate with Presidents, people and puppets – at 1 p.m. on
Thursday, September 30th in New York City’s Times Square (Duffy Square, 46th St. and Broadway).

The event will feature a debate, of sorts, between Democratic Presidential candidate Kerry and the Republican Presidential candidate Bush. The candidates will also sing.

In addition to the candidates, also featured will be members of the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q, including the puppet
characters Kate Monster, Princeton, Lucy The Slut, the porn-addicted Trekkie Monster, and Broadway’s leading (and possibly only) Republican, the closeted, gay, investment banker Rod, who achieved media darling status during the recent Republican National Convention in New York City.
