New York City
Asian Artists & Concerts, Inc. (AAC) was formed in the spring of 2006 to provide the New York area’s most talented young Asian musicians with their first professional performance opportunities. A critical bridge between a young musician’s success in the academic world and their success in the professional world, AAC provides essential performance experiences and allows fledgling talents to begin building their professional credentials and reputations. In the short time since its creation, AAC has presented full Orchestra concerts at the General Assembly of the United Nations and at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, as well as a number of Solo and Chamber Music Concerts, all to much acclaim. An Enchanting Evening of Music: The AAC Orchestra Concert features Yves Dharmraj (cello) and Atsushi Yamada (conductor), and includes:
Carl Maria Von Weber
“Der Fischutz” Overture
Antonin Dvorak
Concerto, violincello, op. 104
