About This Show

The Annual Lennon Tribute is a one-of-a-kind evening of theatre, modern dance and music in celebration of the life and creative spirit of John Lennon. Each year, the Tribute brings together an enormously talented and diverse group of actors, dancers and musicians to reflect on the perennial themes that Lennon explored in his work: peace, love, rebellion, feminism, spirituality and personal transformation.

The 27th Annual Lennon Tribute features a stellar line-up of veteran singer-songwriters: Marshall Crenshaw, Steve Forbert and The Kennedys. Plus, two acclaimed New York dance companies, Alexandra Beller/Dances and Wendy Osserman Dance, will present new Lennon-inspired works. They’ll be joined by stand-up performance artist, Joe Raiola, in what promises to be a thought-provoking and fun show.

All proceeds benefit World Hunger Year, the outstanding grassroots organization dedicated to finding solutions to hunger and poverty founded by Bill Ayres and legendary folksinger, Harry Chapin.
