Emily Bunning and Gina Young: Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13 at 8pm Emily Bunning with her company Treehouse Shakers presents Under Covers, a carousel of movement with five dancers that are corralled, manipulated and tangled in the material of a "larger than life" circle skirt. Their movement resembles prancing plastic horses, plays with ritual celebration of women's roles and boldly redefines the skirt's properties. The piece reflects on race, racism and race relations blending text, spoken word, movement and media images.
