About the Show
The Rose Tattoo is one of Tennessee Williams’ most powerful and beautiful dramas. Set amongst a colony of Sicilian fisherfolk on the American Gulf Coast, the play tells the story of Serafina Delle Rosa, a woman for whom love is stronger than death. Her story, and that of the lover she chooses and the daughter she denies, is forged into a play of power, humanity, and soaring emotion. John Grimsley directs.
