The Sephardic Connection: The Story of the Spanish Jews

The Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission presents the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre — one of New Jersey’s premier dance companies — in its new production of The Sephardic Connection: The Story of the Spanish Jews, which brings together the traditions of the Sephardic Jews (Sephardim) with Spanish, Moroccan, and Turkish dance and music in an effort to depict their lives prior to and after their exodus from Spain in 1492.
