Shangri-La is a modern opera/theatre hybrid about three western businessmen captivated with Thailand’s sex trade, and their inability to re-enter western culture. The piece features a libretto by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Tusef Komunyakaa and a score by Susie Ibarra.
