Abigail’s Party

Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party, a wildly successful dark comedy with a recent West End hit revival, takes us back to the 70s, mini-skirts, and the Sex Pistols. Wonderfully satiric, and at times hilariously funny, this show is a witty portrait of a suburban hell. A frantic hostess forces food and cigarettes on her guests in an attempt to disguise both the failure of her party and of her marriage.
