Tamir- In The Land of Israel: This one-woman show portrays contemporary Israel through six diverse characters: a Zionist farmer, a religious zealot, a Catholic nun, an Israeli right-wing extremist, a Palestinian Arab, and a Rumanian immigrant. These characters present an unusually wide spectrum of political views and raise questions of universal human concern. More importantly they examine Jewish identity and the essence of life in Israel.
