7th Inning Stretch: 7 10-Minute Plays about Baseball

Mile Square Theatre, Hoboken’s own professional theater company, stages the 4th annual 7th Inning Stretch: 7 10-Minute Plays about Baseball. This year’s Stretch presents work from playwright Craig Wright; Hoboken resident Jenny Levison; well-known Cuban-American playwright Eduardo Machado; Karen Hartman; Jiffy Iuen; Sunil Kuruvilla; and this year’s MFA student playwright Brett Williams.

Proceeds from 7th Inning Stretch support Mile Square Theatre’s productions, theater education classes and literacy programs; the playwrights, actors and directors have all donated their talents. The Theatre’s educational programs include public performances for Black History Month; study guides for student groups attending plays, and exhibition-related workshops at the Hoboken Historical.
