About the Show

Junior Musical Theater Show Choir meets on Mondays, 4:30-6:00 pm, from September 8 to December 15 (not including 10/13 and 11/24).


The Show Choir performance will be on December 21st at 6:00 pm with a dress rehearsal on the same day from 1:00-5:00 pm.


About Show Choir:

Show Choir is ensemble singing combined with choreographed dance and staging. Essentially, we pick killer musical theater songs from a variety of shows and prepare them for a performance! 

Triple threats are needed! If you love to sing, act, and dance – this is a space for you! Come build friendships with students from all over Central Vermont who also love Broadway, Glee, and movie musicals. 

Tiered Pricing:

Please pay to your capacity!

  • $350 – base price of program to cover cost of staffing

  • $450 – preferred price of program to cover cost of staffing and support the venue costs

  • $550 – desired price of program to cover cost of staffing, support the venue costs, and support tiered tuition pricing for our community 

About the Instructors:

Co-Director: Kianna Bromley (Staging, Choreography, Vocal Training, Song Interpretation)


Kianna Bromley (she/her) has been directing theater for the last 20 years. In addition to directing and designing, she also performs. On stage in Vermont, she has performed with Dirt Road Theater, Vermont Stage, Lost Nation Theater, Green Room Productions, and Lyric Theatre Company. Her favorite roles include Susan (Tick, Tick…BOOM!), Heidi ([title of show]), Eponine (Les Miserables), Penny (Hairspray), and Lina (Cry It Out). She trained at Circle in the Square Theatre & School in NYC and the University of Vermont. She has studied voice with Ben Fankhauser, Stacy Chadwell, Bill Reed, and Beth Falcone. Kianna sings locally with an improvisational circle singing group, appears in sketch comedy, and is a licensed theatrical intimacy choreographer as well as a K-12 Theatre Arts educator. She is currently the President and Founder of the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub.

Co-Director: Michael Halloran (Musical Direction & Accompanist, Staging, Song Interpretation)

Local multi-hyphenate Michael Halloran (he/she/they) is an experienced actor, director, singer, and pianist originally hailing from the midwest. Michael received a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Minnesota and a MA in Directing and Theatre Education from the University of New Mexico. As a performer, Michael has appeared all over the state of Vermont in such roles as Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family; previous directing projects include The Mikado, Our Town, Kimberly Akimbo, and The Glass Menagerie. In addition, Michael has taught at Monteverdi Music School, Johnson State College (VSU), and currently works as a private vocal coach in Barre, mentoring singers of all ages and experience levels. Note: We are seeking a minimum of 12 students to join each section of show choir to run the program.
