Carnival

The Hawthorne Players present this romantic musical set in France. The tale of a puppeteer’s unrequited love, this show is rarely produced even though it contains a great score with songs such as “Love Makes the World Go Round” and “Her Face.” Music and lyrics are by Bob Merrill, with book by Michael Stewart, based on material by Helen Deutsch. Lisa Dlabick directs the production, with musical direction provided by LeeAnn Smith and choreography by Debbie Clyne.
