About the Show
The Mind Has a Hundred Thousand Gates is a multi-disciplinary stage performance that brings philosophy of 15th-century Indian poet Kabir to life through spoken word, music, and movement - exploring themes of love and compassion.
The piece highlights Kabir’s fearless challenge to social injustice, his critique of hypocrisy and caste, and his call for truth, equality, and awakened consciousness. Woven with new poetry by Meena Natarajan in response to the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, The Mind calls for reflection and remembrance.
