In Minnecanos, an old man uses mementos collected over a lifetime and some lively corridos (story-songs) to awaken his great-grandson’s interest in their shared Mexican-American heritage. What emerges from the stories and reconciliations among the generations is a touching and invigorating renewal of family and culture.
