The Merry Wives of Windsor

Presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Merry Wives of Windsor follows the hilarious journey of Sir John Falstaff (first introduced in the first half of Shakespeare?s History plays) and his doomed plan to seduce Mistress Ford and Mistress Page as a way of absconding with their husbands? money. After receiving identical love letters, Mistresses Ford and Page hatch a plan of their own to make a buffoon of the gluttony knight, and Falstaff finds himself in the middle of a plot of which he is no longer in control. This revenge play is filled with comic umbrage over mistaken identities, witty banter, amusing pranks, secret plots and true love.
