The High Priest of Infinity is a dramatic reflection of a man’s life. It trades on some of theater’s strongest themes: the fallibility of memory, illusion versus reality, and the self behind the mask. When that “self” is a man of the cloth, the quest for the substance under the surface is particularly intriguing. Can it be that rigorous religious vocation actually numbs the spirit?
