The Blue Light and Other Stories, directed by Michael W. Ballard, brings the audience into a frolicsome, fanciful world full of on-stage transformations and surprise endings without the help of scenery or unnecessary props. An ensemble cast of eight actors brings a multitude of characters, animals, situations and objects to life through movement and words in an improvisation-based performance style known as story theatre. This production adapts stories from Aesop, the Brothers Grimm, and other sources.
