Playwright John C. Picardi is in the process of creating a ten play series, one set in each decade of the twentieth century, that tells the stories of the Italian American experience in Massachusetts. Stoneham Theatre presents the New England premiere of the second in Picardi’s ten play series, Seven Rabbits on a Pole, which focuses on a Massachusetts farming family in the midst of the Great Depression. As he did with The Sweepers, Picardi paints a charming portrait with vivid clarity. Robert J. Cronin directs.
