After their successful summer tour including performances in Boston and at the Provincetown Fringe Festival, Ghostlight Theater Co. brings their provocative and haunting production of One Flea Spare home to New Hampshire for one night only! Directed by John Sefel, the play tells the tale of five people struggling for survival in the darkest days of London’s “Plague of the Black Death.” After waiting out their time of quarentine, the Snelgraves – a wealthy, societal couple – are preparing to leave when two outsiders – a sailor and a young girl – break in, and in doing so, bring another 28 days of confinement to the household. Over the next month, the four are forced to live side by side while disease covers their city and their sadistic guard smiles through the window. In this tale of corruption, death, and redemption, the players must learn to work together, or die by each other’s hands.
