About the Show
A lavish and spectacular production of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic, produced in partnership with the Arsenal Center for the Arts and the Watertown Children’s Theatre! On Christmas Eve, three spirits visit the world’s most famous miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, for an unforgettable journey through childhood memories and glimpses of the future. In one ghostly and haunted evening, Scrooge sees the error of his ways and repents just in time for a glorious Christmas morning. Celebrating traditional English holiday customs, ranging from children’s games to pudding, A Christmas Carol shaped Christmas rituals and activities into internationally cherished traditions. This production, adapted and directed by New Rep’s Producing Artistic Director Rick Lombardo, is complete with music, dancing, and all the splendor of a Victorian Christmas. A holiday event for the entire family!
