Boston Symphony Orchestra

Led by Music Director Andris Nelsons since 2014, the Boston Symphony Orchestra gave its inaugural concert in 1881. Today the BSO reaches millions of listeners through not only our concert performances in Boston and at Tanglewood, but also via educational and community programs, radio, television, recordings, and tours.

The BSO’s 2025-26 season will break new ground with exciting collaborations, explorations of faith, our environment, and the evolution of American music, all punctuated by beloved favorites and world-class guest artists.
