Bathtub Pirates

The award-winning Grey Seal Puppets presents a charming puppet show sure to delight any child who has ever pretended to be a pirate sailing on a bathtub ship. Winner of the 1998 Citation of Excellence by UNIMA – USA.

When Captain Blackbeard, one of the Carolinas most infamous pirates of all time is without his ship, he decides that a bathtub will have to do. The boy in the bathtub is delighted to be a part of Blackbeard’s gang until the pirates relegate him to the ship’s most unsavory duties. The life of a pirate proves to be less than romantic and the boy wishes only to return home. Exciting action and adventure ensues as the boy decides to stage a mutiny and become “Captain Kid.”
