Marblehead Little Theatre announces Auditions for Harvey By Mary Chase, Produced by Andrew Barnett and Andrew Hankinson Directed by Katie Meuse We are pleased to announce auditions for Harvey, directed by Katie Meuse. Mary Chase’s 1944 comedy tells the story of Elwood P. Dowd, a man who has an invisible friend named Harvey, a six-foot-tall rabbit. The play explores themes of acceptance and the nature of reality, and it won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1945. Auditions will be held on Friday, February 6 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 7 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Callbacks are on Sunday, February 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Auditions are by appointment, but walk-ins will be auditioned as time allows.
