The Union of Designers, Operators, and Technicians (UDOT) are proud to present Techstravaganza 2025!

Techstravaganza is our annual showcase, organized, ran, and teched entirely by members of our organization. We use this event to showcase our technical abilities, as well as the many talented groups Suffolk has to offer! This year's event will feature performances by:

Dancing in Deliverance
Fusion Dhamaka
W!CKED
Rampage Show Choir
Soulfully Versed

Suffolk's Union of Designers, Operators, and Technicians (UDOT) aims to nurture, educate, and grow both the number and abilities of student event technicians and designers in the Suffolk community, as well as to serve as a resource for any Suffolk event that needs technicians and designers. To this end, UDOT runs workshops and organizes backstage tours. Members also have staffed and consulted on many Suffolk events in many capacities, ranging from stage manager to lighting designer to sound designer and beyond. UDOT meets weekly, as well as hosting trainings and workshops for members. There are no auditions to join UDOT. They will hold an Open Meeting every fall for new members to get to know them, but you can reach out to the group at anytime throughout the year to get involved with them.

Admission is FREE. Tickets are required. This event is open to the public.

Walk-up tickets will be available to reserve at the Modern Theatre box office on the day of the performance, subject to availability.

SEATING: This event has General Admission seating. All seats are first-come, first-served.

ARRIVAL: The Modern Theatre lobby and box office will open at 6:00pm, one hour before the event's start time.

All unclaimed tickets will be released to the waitlist at 6:50pm, ten minutes before the event's start time.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your event's start time and check in at the box office to avoid losing your tickets to the waitlist.

RUNNING LATE? Late seating will be permitted during appropriate breaks in the performance, at the Front of House Manager’s discretion.

Please arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before your event's start time.
