In medieval Sweden, members of the clergy are on the hunt for witches. The people of the village are quick to turn on each other and soon, no one is above suspicion. Based on the 1922 silent film, this timely story of people divided delves into witchcraft, superstition, religious mania, and asks the question; “Why do we keep burning each other?”.
This Developmental Production is a brand new work in progress and is part of the nationally recognized Emerging Artist Program.
