About This Show

Just back from its Romanian tour, the play Unbuckled, by Bryan Reynolds, is about a trendy fashion photographer who finds herself torn between polyamorous desires and the social rules that work to control human relations. The surprise arrival of an egotistical but charismatic old boyfriend with a penchant for philosophical debate from the most reactionary of perspectives eclipses any lingering sunshine on what seems to be the photographer’s and her current boyfriend’s otherwise quotidian horizon. The trip down memory lane becomes an erotic adventure into a quagmire of pent-up ideas and emotions sparked by a bartender who nobody can resist.
