Tony® Award-winner Peter Hunt directs an all-star reading of the original Paramount screenplay by Charles Brackett, Billy Wilder and D.M. Marshaman, Jr. and adapted for the stage by David Rambo. Oscar recipient and 2004 nominee Sir Ben Kingsley has accepted the role of Max Von Mayerling while Golden Globe and Tony nominee Patrick Wilson portrays Joe Gillis. Noah Wyle in the role of his best friend, Artie Green. Legendary director Stanley Donen will appear as the iconic Cecil B. DeMille with Ed Begley, Jr. cast as Morino, Joe’s agent, Steve Guttenberg as the first AD and Charles Durning as the L. A Homicide Captain. Stefanie Powers will introduce the evening and then join the cast as the famous Hedda Hopper in Act II. Kate Edelman Johnson will be hosting, assisted by original cast member Nancy Olson Livingston and Audrey Wilder, wife of the late Billy Wilder.

The evening is a benefit for The Actors’ Fund of America.
