About This Show

In 1936, 1974 and 1996, a woman shapes dramatic events in a rural community on the Scottish coast reflecting the shifting political and social fabric of Britain in the twentieth century. Joyous, erotic and poetic, Victoria is a rich, epic work following in the footsteps of the great RSC plays of David Edgar and Peter Flannery. David Greig is a leading young writer in British theater. This production is part of the RSC’s new writing program and is supported by The Drue Heinz Foundation.
