About the Show

After a successful run of sold out performances at Shotwell Studios, Cory McDaniel’s SF Boylesque returns to the stage with a tighter, more polished show. The Countess Christina Castrada leads the audience through a fantastical odyssey of song, dance, circus acts, and sketch comedy. This two-hour pageantry unabashedly celebrates the male libido with its international ensemble of a dozen talented (and hot) young guys.

SF Boylesque focuses on the pre-strip era of Burlesque, when the line separating Vaudeville and Burlesque is blurred beyond distinction. The music ranges from ragtime to new wave, the comedy ranges from a Greek Mythology reminiscent of early Charles Busch to a teen boy slumber party. The dance ranges from traditional Philipino to a Fosse inspired chair number.

If you’re looking for an evening of sensuality, coyness, flirtation and humor, this extravaganza is for you.
