Rue Magique

Based on true stories, the musical Rue Magique explores the complex relationship between Desdemona, a South London prostitute, and her thirteen year-old daughter Sugar. Originally conceived by composer and lyricist Brett Kahr, it has been developed into a two-act musical by Brett Kahr in collaboration with Lisa Forrell, who has also written the book and will direct the show.
