Hedwig & the Angry Inch

This glam musical opened to rave reviews in New York City in 1998 and played to packed houses until the end of its 2-year-run. The story centers on Hedwig, a rock and roll singing German transsexual and her dreams, disappointments, and search for love. This production blends social commentary and Greek myth with a hard rocking soundtrack. Peter Askin directs Michael Cerveris as Hedwig.
