A Dream Play

An angelic being descends to Earth to bear witness to the difficulties of everyday life. Characters converge, locations change in an instant, and a locked door becomes an obsessively recurrent image. In this site-specific adaptation of August Strindberg’s A Dream Play, the unique and lush Berkeley Art Center will serve as the natural backdrop. Audience members will follow along with the actors from one scene to the next, throughout the Center, inside and out, as the story unfolds.
