Theater Fever 2000

THEATER FEVER 2000 hits Chicago for the third year in a row. This free, public showcase of Chicago’s hotter-than-ever theater scene boasts a hot lineup of hands-on workshop and interactive activities that will put audiences of all ages on stage and behind the scenes.

More than 50 Chicago-area theater companies are involved in Free Sampler Day. At four host locations (Second City, Chicago Cultural Center, Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire), participants get an insider’s view of lighting, sound, writing and acting. “Stump the Sister” from LATE-NITE CATECHISM, join a mask-making workshop or play a part in RIP VAN WINKLE’S Y2K ADVENTURE.
