Why do some writers who drink go home with the Nobel Prize, while the rest just go home and sleep it off? The Neo-Futurists make their suburban Chicago debut at Metropolis with their site-specific production of Drinking & Writing, staged in The Boiler Room, the new, urban-inspired nightclub located in the basement of the Metropolis complex. The experimental company takes a look at the rituals and habits of writing and drinking, and the relationship – if any – between creativity and intoxication.
