The Mai

Marina Carr’s funny and moving play, The Mai features four generations of sisters, aunts, mothers and daughters. Their strong familial bonds hold them together in the face of inexplicable personal choices and comically skewed perceptions of the world around them. This ensemble piece is directed by Irish Repertory’s artistic associate Kay Martinovich, and features original music by Liz Carroll.
