Teen Workshop 2022

2022 marks the 39th year of the IVT Summer workshops! Each year our instructors and students create quality theatre enjoyed by participants, family and friends. This year the Teen Workshop will perform “Peter/Wendy.” In this lyrical atmospheric interpretation adapted by Jeremy Bloom strips the familiar story down to its emotional essence. Peter lures Wendy away from her nursery to the magical world of Neverland where she joins his adventures with Tinker Bell, Tiger Lily and the menacing Captain Hook. Every participant is cast in a part adapted to fit their specific talents and needs that allows them to explore, imagine, create and have fun in the world of theatre arts. Students will be introduced to many facets of theatre including building sets, props and understanding the basics of putting on a show. Not only will they rehearse the play but will also participate in theatre games and activities that introduce basics of theatre. Our Director and Instructors strive to ensure that each participant’s potential is reached!
