Based on the 1970 movie The Apartment, Promises, Promises tells the story of an opportunistic accountant who, in order to get ahead, allows his superiors to use his apartment to romance their mistresses. This musical comedy features music by Burt Bacharach, lyrics by Hal David, and book by Neil Simon.
