About the Show
The world premiere TYA musical chronicles the scientific siftings of 11-year-old Alyssa Peabody, who is determined to work out why her new stepbrother is always in the family bathroom. Her attempt to answer the seemingly inane question: “How can a person pee so often?” sparks a series of adventures and mishaps and brings Alyssa into hilarious conflict with her wily science-fair nemesis Phillip, an oh-so-stressed-out school principal, and even the president of the United States, herself.
Featuring timely visits from history’s most eccentric and trailblazing scientists, what begins as a simple investigation into sodas and sports drinks turns into a comic, epic and ultimately heroic journey into the heart of the scientific process!
